Winberry are recruiting for an experienced Senior Technical Manager to join a well‑established food manufacturing business based in Llanelli. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong food manufacturing professional with experience managing customer relationships, driving quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement activities within a fast‑paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage technical relationships with customers and external stakeholders
  • Support customer audits, site visits, and technical reviews
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and legal standards
  • Work closely with production and operational teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Investigate non‑conformances and implement corrective actions
  • Support internal and external audit activities
  • Review specifications, technical documentation, and customer requirements
  • Assist in maintaining and improving quality management systems

Requirements

  • Previous experience within a technical or quality role in food manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of food safety and quality systems
  • Experience working directly with customers and audits
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments

Desirable Experience

  • HACCP qualification
  • Experience working with BRCGS standards
  • Retailer‑facing experience
  • Food science or related qualification
