We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Security Install Engineer to join a well-established and expanding security systems company operating across the M4 Corridor. This role is ideal for a technically strong engineer who can take ownership of complex installations while providing on-site leadership and mentoring to junior engineers. Due to continued growth and increased project demand, our client is looking for a senior-level professional with extensive experience in CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Leading and carrying out complex installations of IP CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems
  • Acting as the on-site lead engineer on larger or multi-engineer projects
  • Supporting, mentoring, and guiding junior engineers and apprentices
  • Ensuring all installations meet industry standards, compliance, and company quality expectations
  • Working with a wide range of security manufacturers and technologies
  • Liaising with customers, project managers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues during installations
  • Ensuring works are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard

Skills & Experience Required

  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Extensive experience installing CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems
  • Ideally 5+ years experience within the security industry
  • Strong technical knowledge across multiple security disciplines
  • Proven ability to work independently and lead on-site installations
  • Experience supporting or mentoring junior engineers
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
  • Highly organised, proactive, and self-motivated

Desirable Qualifications (Not Essential)

  • IPAF
  • CSCS / ECS
  • FIA Units
  • City & Guilds (Security Systems or Electrical)
