Our client is a well-established global freight forwarder delivering cargo across a global network via road, rail, sea, and air. With 500 sites in 25 countries, and a forwarding network spanning 150 countries, an exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Senior Sea Freight Exports professional to join the team in Manchester near Manchester Airport.

In your role of sea freight exports, you will handle all operational aspects/queries from new and existing accounts, liaising with both external and internal customers, suppliers, etc. The successful candidate will develop the sea freight exports team, ensuring customers receive the very best service at all times, in line with what has been agreed, to ensure a smooth and efficient shipment of goods.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Bookings
  • Quotations
  • Complete sea freight documentation
  • Liaise with suppliers, transport, etc.
  • FCL and LCL
  • Issue instructions for B/L, insurance certificates, B/Ex, etc.
  • Confirm shipments
  • Invoicing

In order to apply for this role, you will have several years of experience in a sea freight exports background gained from working for a freight forwarder. You should have managed or led a small team or be looking for that next step.
