We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in infrastructure projects and an in-depth understanding of the defence and maritime sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-profile projects related to naval platforms, dockyard upgrades, and secure defence facilities. You will be responsible for managing cost estimates, financial forecasting, procurement, and contractual support across the project lifecycle.
Essential Requirements:
- Security Clearance: Must hold SC (Security Clearance) or be eligible to obtain it prior to starting.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, particularly on infrastructure projects within the defence and maritime sectors.
- Sector Knowledge: Experience in naval platforms, ship design, and maritime infrastructure. Previous involvement in dockyard upgrades or work within secure defence facilities is highly advantageous.
- Contractual Knowledge: Strong understanding of contract forms such as JCT, NEC, or similar.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with senior management and external stakeholders.
