Lincoln Permanent £60,000 - £70,000 Plus package + Car allowance TSR Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a regional main contractor based and operating in Lincolnshire. Established for over 60 years, this main contractor is leading the way in Lincolnshire with a fantastic pipeline of secured projects in sectors such as Education, Leisure, Residential and Healthcare. This business prides itself on developing and investing in its people, delivering the best quality and value for money to the clients and supporting the communities they work in. Due to their continued success, a Senior Quantity Surveyor is required to join the established commercial team in Lincoln, working closely with contracts managers delivering projects valued up to £20m in a variety of sectors.

The Role

  • Preparing, negotiating, and reviewing tender and contract cost submissions
  • Tracking project commercial performance and providing updates
  • Producing monthly valuations for completed works
  • Pricing, assessing, and managing project variations from start to completion
  • Procuring subcontractors and securing competitive subcontract quotations
  • Forecasting and cost reporting

The Person

  • Quantity Surveying degree or HND
  • IT literate
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with JCT/NEC contracts
