This established construction group operates across several specialist divisions including traditional masonry, façades, cladding, manufacturing, and luxury residential developments. With continued growth and a strong reputation across the Midlands, the business is expanding its commercial team to support an increasing pipeline of high-value projects.
Responsibilities- Oversee commercial management across multiple construction projects
- Manage valuations, CVRs, subcontract administration, and procurement
- Ensure contracts, notices, and payment applications are correctly managed
- Manage cashflow forecasting and commercial reporting
- Support and mentor junior Quantity Surveyors
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors
- Work from both Derby office and site locations in Derby and Birmingham
- Strong Quantity Surveying experience within construction
- Experience managing cashflow, valuations, and procurement
- Happy to lead and mentor junior staff
- Commercially aware with strong client-facing skills
- Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
- Positive, driven, and solution-focused mindset
- Commutable distance from Derby
