Overview: Your new company is a leader in its field and are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis to support company growth.

Your new role: You will work closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders and support the delivery of accurate, timely financial information to support business decision-making. This role offers exposure to core finance activities within a structured reporting environment and will suit someone who enjoys continuous improvement, collaboration, and working to deadlines. There is scope for growth and professional development for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting month-end close activities, including preparation and review of financial reports.
  • Analysing financial performance and preparing clear explanations for key variances.
  • Assisting with forecasting and budgeting processes in collaboration with non-finance stakeholders.
  • Performing balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register and supporting capital expenditure tracking.
  • Preparing and posting accruals, prepayments, and other routine journals.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement, standardisation, and increased efficiency.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA qualified or finalist.
  • Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is essential.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with good attention to detail.
  • Confident Excel user, including experience with functions such as Pivot Tables and lookup formulas.
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume environment with tight reporting deadlines.
  • Able to manage competing priorities, take ownership of tasks, and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to challenge existing processes and suggest improvements.
