At Charrington Manor, our Senior Care Assistants are called Homemaker Leads. They are carers and companions, trusted to give each person the care they need, in the way they like, and have the time to get to know our residents. Charrington Manor is a care home in West Byfleet, offering residential, dementia and nursing care for older people.
Schedule: 12‑hour shifts and alternative weekends on a rota basis.

Our Homemakers are a unique caring role where you care for individual people in the way a family member might care for someone in their home.
Responsibilities:
- A varied role where no two days are the same. You will care for each resident in the way that works best for them, including administering medication, helping make a bed, arranging a family meal, and taking them to the beauty salon.
- A chance to make a real difference to our residents’ lives.
- As a Homemaker you have fewer people to care for, but spend more time with them, providing a more satisfying and fulfilling role.
- Supportive team environment. You will work within a compassionate and supportive team that values kindness and companionship.
Qualifications:
- A strong background in care work in a similar environment.
- Training experience or qualification.
- Educated to NVQ Level 3 (desirable).
