We're supporting a leading manufacturer in Redditch to recruit a Senior Health, Safety and Environment Advisor for a fast‑paced production environment. This is a key role within the business, focused on driving health, safety, and environmental standards across the site while supporting a strong culture of continuous improvement. The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams to deliver impactful safety initiatives, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and contribute to ongoing operational excellence within a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

  • Support the EHS Manager in delivering the plant's safety performance scorecard and reports to senior management
  • Lead hazard observation, risk assessments, and safety coaching activities across the site
  • Develop and enhance safety, ergonomics, wellbeing, and sustainability programmes
  • Contribute actively to HSE projects and ongoing system improvements
  • Promote a strong safety culture through leadership engagement and team development

Qualifications

  • NEBOSH qualified (or equivalent) with experience in environment, health and safety within a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the business
  • Strong understanding of hazard identification, risk management, and safety best practices
  • Enthusiasm for continuous improvement and people development
