Are you looking to take ownership of environmental performance across major infrastructure projects? We are supporting a leading utilities and civil engineering contractor in their search for a Senior Environmental Advisor. This is a key role working across the Thames Valley, supporting site teams and driving real environmental improvements on live projects.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting operational teams across circa 12 live sites
  • Managing environmental compliance across water infrastructure projects
  • Writing and reviewing risk assessments and environmental plans
  • Supporting site waste management and soil handling strategies
  • Managing environmental risks including water protection, silt control and discharges
  • Carrying out site inspections and internal audits
  • Engaging with regulators including the Environment Agency and local authorities
  • Working closely with project and contract managers to embed best practice

What they are looking for:

  • Environmental Degree or relevant professional membership (CIWEM, CIWM, ISEP or similar)
  • Strong experience in an environmental role within construction, utilities, civil engineering or consultancy environments
  • Experience managing environmental risks on live sites
  • Confident communicator, collaboratively working with site teams and stakeholders
