We are recruiting for a Senior Credit Controller based near Derby City Centre on a full‑time, permanent basis.
Benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Support and mentor Credit Control Assistant.
- Manage and monitor accounts, ensuring regular reviews and appropriate actions taken in line with policy.
- Work alongside Income to resolve queries.
- Hold regular meetings with the relevant Managers to review account status and issues.
- Preparation of files to third‑party solicitors when the company has been unsuccessful in obtaining payment.
- Assist with ensuring that all Direct Debits are collected on time and posted to the ledger.
- Assist with cash allocation when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, relevant codes of practice, and legislation.
- Provide ad hoc support to the wider organisation as required.
- Support with audits.
- Manage and monitor the Bad Debt Provision and related reporting.
- Develop, document and maintain up to date transactional process documentation.
- Identify and discuss any process improvements.
- Manage the credit control inbox, ensuring queries are resolved promptly to prevent escalation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working in or a similar position.
- Great communication skills.
- Team player and personable.
- Excellent attention to detail.
