My client in London is seeking an experienced Planning Conservation Specialist to work with a Council Planning Department on a 6-month initial contract (likely to extend to 12 months). My client expects applicants to be experienced and able to hit the ground running.

Ideal Candidate

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in conservation or a related field
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of conservation legislation and policy
  • Experience in providing advice on conservation and heritage matters in a planning context/listed building consents
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • An enthusiastic and proactive approach to work

This role can be worked on a hybrid basis.
