A highly respected AV and smart building integrator is looking to recruit a Senior AV & Network Integration Engineer to support the delivery of luxury residential and commercial technology projects across the South East. This is a specialist integration role combining enterprise grade networking with high end AV & smart home systems. It is not an IT support, MSP, cloud, cyber security or DevOps position. The business is specifically looking for someone from a professional AV integration or smart home background who understands both advanced AV systems and Cisco networking infrastructure.
The Role
- You will lead the installation, commissioning, integration and technical support of complex AV and network systems across premium client environments.
- Projects typically include:
- Cisco networking infrastructure
- Crestron control systems
- Lutron lighting and shading
- Control4 automation
- AV over IP distribution
- CCTV and access control systems
- Audio and video distribution platforms
- Enterprise WiFi and integrated smart technologies
You will play a key role in bridging the gap between AV and IT infrastructure while ensuring projects are delivered to a polished, high end standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Cisco network deployment and configuration
- VLANs, routing, VPNs, switching and wireless systems
- AV over IP integration and troubleshooting
- System commissioning and optimisation
- Rack builds and technical documentation
- Integration between AV systems and network infrastructure
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers
- Delivering technically polished client installations
What They Are Looking For
To be considered, you must almost certainly have experience working within a professional AV integration or smart home environment. Strong experience required with:
- Cisco networking
- TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs and routing
- Crestron systems
- Lutron HomeWorks / QSX
- Control4
- AV over IP platforms
- High end residential or commercial AV installations
Additional experience with Ruckus, Meraki, Dante, HDBaseT, CCTV or enterprise wireless systems would be highly beneficial.
Package
- Up to 50,000 pa as a basic salary, but the package is negotiable depending on experience
- Bonus scheme linked to lead generation and contribution
- Hybrid working with up to 2 days from home
- 28 days holiday plus birthday off
- Paid certifications and industry training
- Genuine progression into senior technical or leadership roles
- Strong company culture with regular events and incentives
- Long term loyalty rewards including 5,000 bonus scheme
Why This Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong AV engineer who enjoys the networking and integration side of projects as much as the AV itself. You’ll work on premium installations, gain exposure to advanced technologies, and join a business where technical ability is genuinely valued.
