A highly respected AV and smart building integrator is looking to recruit a Senior AV & Network Integration Engineer to support the delivery of luxury residential and commercial technology projects across the South East. This is a specialist integration role combining enterprise grade networking with high end AV & smart home systems. It is not an IT support, MSP, cloud, cyber security or DevOps position. The business is specifically looking for someone from a professional AV integration or smart home background who understands both advanced AV systems and Cisco networking infrastructure.
The Role
- You will lead the installation, commissioning, integration and technical support of complex AV and network systems across premium client environments.
- Projects typically include:
- Cisco networking infrastructure
- Crestron control systems
- Lutron lighting and shading
- Control4 automation
- AV over IP distribution
- CCTV and access control systems
- Audio and video distribution platforms
- Enterprise WiFi and integrated smart technologies
- You will play a key role in bridging the gap between AV and IT infrastructure while ensuring projects are delivered to a polished, high end standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Cisco network deployment and configuration
- VLANs, routing, VPNs, switching and wireless systems
- AV over IP integration and troubleshooting
- System commissioning and optimisation
- Rack builds and technical documentation
- Integration between AV systems and network infrastructure
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers
- Delivering technically polished client installations
What They Are Looking For
- To be considered, you must almost certainly have experience working within a professional AV integration or smart home environment.
- Strong experience required with:
- Cisco networking
- TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs and routing
- Crestron systems
- Lutron HomeWorks / QSX
- Control4
- AV over IP platforms
- High end residential or commercial AV installations
- Additional experience with Ruckus, Meraki, Dante, HDBaseT, CCTV or enterprise wireless systems would be highly beneficial.
Package
- Up to 50,000 pa as a basic salary, but the package is negotiable depending on experience
- Bonus scheme linked to lead generation and contribution
- Hybrid working with up to 2 days from home
- 28 days holiday plus birthday off
