A design-led studio is looking to appoint a Senior Interior Designer to support the continued growth of its interiors team across workplace and Build to Rent projects. This is a hands‑on senior role within a collaborative studio environment, suited to someone who enjoys balancing creativity, client interaction, project leadership and team mentoring. The position reports directly into the Head of Design and offers the opportunity to play a genuine role in shaping projects from concept through to delivery.

The successful candidate will lead the development of design concepts and detailed schemes, presenting ideas confidently to clients while maintaining design integrity throughout the process. You will be involved in pitching, creating presentation documentation, and helping clients translate ideas into commercially viable and beautifully resolved spaces.

Alongside the creative side, the role also requires strong project ownership. You will oversee multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with consultants, contractors and wider project teams to ensure programmes, budgets and design intent are aligned from start to finish. There is also a leadership element to the role, mentoring and supporting junior designers, helping guide workloads and contributing to the collaborative culture of the studio.

From a technical perspective, you will be comfortable producing detailed drawing packages, selecting materials and FF&E, carrying out site visits, and ensuring projects are delivered to a high design standard.

The studio is looking for someone with:

  • 5+ years professional interior design experience
  • Strong workplace and/or residential interiors exposure
  • Experience leading projects and managing client relationships
  • A strong portfolio showing both conceptual and delivered work
  • Confidence presenting and pitching ideas
  • Good technical understanding alongside strong creative ability
  • Proficiency across AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong knowledge of materials, finishes and FF&E

The role is fully office-based in Central London and would suit someone who enjoys working closely with wider teams in a fast‑paced, design-focused environment. Alongside a strong benefits package, the business offers exposure to a broad range of projects and genuine long‑term progression opportunities.
