Conrad Consulting have partnered with our longstanding clients for a Senior level hire to join their Sussex based practice taking a lead on projects within the Education sector. This role will be suitable for an Architect with 5+ years experience working on Education projects preferably within the DfE framework, to join their expanding practice in the heart of Brighton. Being a key part of client and end user engagement across multiple Education Schemes. The role will naturally develop into a Regional lead position over a period of time or should you have the right experience to undertake that level of responsibility already then you be able to slot into a ready made lead role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of large-scale education schemes
  • Produce high-quality technical and design outputs across all RIBA stages
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through confident communication and presentation skills
  • Collaborate effectively with consultants, contractors and wider project teams
  • Lead, mentor and support junior architects and technicians
  • Contribute to design innovation, technical excellence and best practice within the team
  • Stay up to date with industry legislation, standards and emerging technologies
  • Help support the strategic growth and development of the industrial and manufacturing sector team

Requirements

  • ARB/RIBA qualified Architect
  • Minimum 5+ years post-qualification experience within Education projects
  • Proven track record delivering complex Education schemes preferably within DfE framework
  • Strong front end design skills
  • Excellent Revit skills with working knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM Level 2
  • Experience across other sectors would also be beneficial
  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Passion for sustainable and innovative design solutions
