SEND Transformation Lead
Significant experience within SEND services, with a strong understanding of statutory SEND processes, legislation, and the SEND Code of Practice. Proven experience of leading or supporting service restructure and delivering effective change management in complex environments, including embedding new processes and supporting teams through transition.
Experience of developing and implementing policies, SOPs, and quality assurance frameworks, alongside strong skills in analysing and using performance data to drive improvement, accountability, and informed decision-making. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels and provide clear guidance on complex casework. Strong problem-solving ability and sound judgement are essential.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience within statutory SEND services, including EHCP Annual Review improvement work.
- Knowledge of Ofsted/CQC Area SEND inspection frameworks and co-production approaches with families and partners.
- Up-to-date understanding of SEND reforms, and experience of project or programme management within a public sector environment.
