We are currently recruiting SEND, SEMH & PMLD Supply Teachers for day to day, long term and permanent opportunities across:

  • Preston
  • Blackpool
  • Chorley
  • Leyland
  • Skelmersdale
  • East Lancashire
  • Wigan
  • Greater Manchester

These roles are available immediately and for September 2026 starts. We welcome applications from:

  • Primary Teachers
  • Secondary Teachers
  • ECTs/NQTs
  • Final year teaching students
  • Teachers looking to move into SEND education

Previous SEND experience is beneficial but not essential. Schools are happy to consider teachers with a genuine interest in SEND, SEMH and PMLD settings.

The Role

You will work within SEND schools, SEMH provisions, PMLD settings and alternative provisions supporting pupils with:

  • Autism (ASC)
  • SEMH
  • PMLD
  • ADHD
  • Moderate and severe learning difficulties

  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained.

  • You must be willing to attend a registration interview.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date. Spencer Clarke Group works with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary, Special Education needs and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
