Temporary SEND Administrator
Location: Chislehurst, Kent
Pay Rate: £15-£16 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing until the end of the school year
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm
We are currently seeking an experienced SEND Administrator to join a busy and supportive school environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior school-based administrative experience and strong knowledge of SEND processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date SEND records, including EHCPs, support plans, and pupil data
- Organise and support annual reviews and SEND meetings (scheduling, documentation, and minute-taking)
- Act as a key point of contact for staff, parents/carers, and external professionals
- Support the SENDCo in ensuring compliance with SEND legislation and statutory deadlines
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a school setting
- Strong understanding of SEND administration and processes
- Enhanced DBS certificate (essential)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Experience using school systems is desirable
