We are seeking a skilled BMS Service Engineer to join our team in a semi-static role based in Central London. This position offers a balanced working pattern, with three days per week on a prestigious client site and two days supporting additional sites across London or working remotely where applicable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on BMS systems
  • Diagnose and repair faults across a range of BMS platforms (e.g. Trend, Tridium, Siemens, Schneider)
  • Perform system upgrades, modifications, and small works
  • Monitor system performance and optimise energy efficiency
  • Liaise with clients on-site, providing technical support and updates
  • Produce detailed service reports and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a BMS Service Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of major BMS systems (Trend, Tridium/Niagara, Siemens, Schneider, etc.)
  • Electrical or controls engineering background
  • Ability to fault-find and work independently
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills

Desirable

  • Relevant BMS or electrical qualifications
  • Experience working in commercial buildings (offices, data centres, hospitals, etc.)
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and energy management
