We are delighted to be working with a well-established and growing accountancy firm in Market Harborough, who are looking to appoint a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their friendly and professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years practice experience who is looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive firm that offers exposure to a varied client base.
The Role:
- Preparing financial statements and accounts for clients across a range of sectors
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of personal and corporate tax returns
- Supporting audit engagements, including audit testing and documentation
- Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Liaising directly with clients to gather information and resolve routine queries
- Supporting senior staff on ad-hoc accounting and taxation projects
The Ideal Semi Senior Accountant Candidate:
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
- At least 2 years experience working within an accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
- Organised, proactive, and keen to continue developing professionally
