We're looking for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join a prominent Manufacturing company located in Selby. This role offers a salary of up to 52,000 per annum with a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm. In addition to competitive pay, you'll receive a comprehensive benefits package, including a 9% pension contribution, life assurance, private medical insurance, and 25 days annual leave which increases with tenure plus BH.
As an Engineering Supervisor you will be responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient management of site engineering activities, including maintenance, asset integrity, contractor control, and team leadership. You will also support continuous improvement and ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and company standards.
Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise the engineering team, ensuring safe and effective delivery of maintenance activities.
- Oversee planned preventative and reactive maintenance across all site equipment, including pumps, valves, and compressors.
- Ensure asset integrity and inspection programmes are completed in line with site and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to and manage plant breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all SHEQ requirements, including Permit to Work, RAMS, and safe systems of work.
- Supervise contractors and ensure all site work meets required standards.
- Support maintenance reporting, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement activities.
- Assist with incident response, safety reporting, and emergency preparedness when required.
- Support training, competence development, and performance of engineering staff.
