We are looking for an experienced Science Technician to support engaging science lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics in a secondary school setting. The role will be full‑time and temporary, starting 1st June.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, maintain and set up practical resources for Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
  • Ensure laboratory equipment is safe, organised and compliant with COSHH regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience working within a school laboratory environment.
  • Strong understanding of COSHH regulations and health and safety procedures.
  • Experience preparing practical resources for Science lessons.
  • Knowledge of Biology, Chemistry and Physics laboratory equipment.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.
