About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our Admissions team as a Secondary Admissions Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the effective delivery of school admissions, ensuring every application is processed accurately and within statutory deadlines. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining admissions data, supporting families through the admissions process, and working collaboratively with schools and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter, update and maintain admissions data using internal systems and databases
- Process and track applications, ensuring all documentation is completed to a high standard
- Use IT systems to manage records, produce reports and monitor outcomes
- Respond to enquiries from parents, schools and external partners, providing a high level of customer service
- Handle sensitive or complex cases with professionalism, discretion and empathy
- Support the wider admissions process, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Excellent attention to detail, with proven experience in accurate data entry and document processing
- Strong IT skills, including experience using databases for data management, tracking and reporting
- The ability to manage large volumes of information while maintaining accuracy under pressure
- Outstanding communication skills, with experience working in a customer- or client-facing environment
- The ability to deal sensitively with complex or sometimes distressing situations
- Experience in a school or admissions environment
