We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer who will be involved from the initial design stage through to testing and production of control panels for fans and ventilation systems. The role is part of a small, collaborative team in Salisbury where production, operations and sales work closely together.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design control panels using SEE Electrical, generating schematics, bill of materials and cost estimates.
  • Consult directly with customers to understand their requirements and provide design solutions that meet their real‑world needs.
  • Coordinate with the team to ensure designs are built, tested and integrated efficiently.
  • Provide mechanical support – small SolidWorks adjustments and metalwork awareness (15‑20% of workload).
  • Take ownership of projects, controlling the full design cycle from concept to finished product.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in electrical design and control panel development.
  • Strong ability to create schematics and BOMs independently.
  • Familiarity with SEE Electrical or equivalent design software.
  • Good customer communication skills and a practical, results‑oriented attitude.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and handling cross‑functional tasks.
  • Open to learning mechanical aspects if required.
