We are hiring for an Electrical Assembly Operative to join a global engineering manufacturer based in Little Hulton. This is not a general warehouse or basic production assembly role; you will be assembling components and machinery within an engineering manufacturing environment.

What will you be doing as an Electrical Assembly Operative?

  • Assembling sub-assemblies and finished products
  • Working with electrical and mechanical components
  • Soldering to a high standard
  • Using hand tools and assembly equipment
  • Following assembly procedures and technical instructions
  • Supporting daily and weekly production targets
  • Carrying out quality checks and reporting defects where required
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety

What will you need?

  • Previous experience in electrical assembly, mechanical assembly, engineering assembly or technical production
  • Good soldering skills
  • Experience working with electrical or mechanical components
  • Confidence using hand tools and assembly equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and assembly procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
