This covers GDPR Compliant Guest Wi‑Fi, SD WAN Networks, Managed Wi‑Fi/LAN Infrastructure, Broadband / Leased Lines, Network Security, PCI Consultancy, and structured cabling.

We are looking for an ambitious and driven Sales Development Team Leader to lead and develop our Sales Development function while actively contributing to business growth through lead generation and prospect engagement. This role combines hands‑on sales activity with team leadership responsibilities, supporting the Sales Development team to achieve targets, build strong pipelines, and deliver high‑quality customer engagement.

Key Accountabilities

  • Generate and qualify new business opportunities through outbound outreach and prospecting.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Sales Development team to achieve individual and team KPIs.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and ongoing training to support team development.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective customers through professional and consultative engagement.
  • Support lead qualification and ensure smooth handover of opportunities to the wider sales team.
  • Monitor pipeline performance, CRM accuracy, and sales activity reporting.
  • Work closely with the Business Development Manager and wider sales leadership team to improve processes and drive performance.
  • Share best practice internally and with third‑party partners where required.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and sales development best practices.

About you

  • Proven experience in sales development, lead generation, or business development.
  • Previous team leadership, mentoring, or coaching experience preferred.
  • Strong consultative communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Highly organised with strong CRM and pipeline management capability.
  • Data‑driven mindset with the ability to analyse performance and identify improvements.
  • Commercial awareness and strong understanding of B2B sales processes.
  • Motivated, proactive, and results‑focused leadership style.
  • Commercial awareness and strong understanding of Mid to Enterprise B2B sales processes.
