Our client, a well-established and highly respected engineering business, is looking to recruit a proactive and organised Sales Coordinator to join their UK & Ireland sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, managing sales activity, and supporting business growth within a fast-paced commercial environment.

The Role

As Sales Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the sales function by managing sales opportunities, following up leads, maintaining CRM records, and helping generate new business opportunities. You will act as an important link between customers and the sales team, ensuring enquiries are progressed efficiently and no opportunities are missed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and update the CRM system daily
  • Follow up inbound and outbound sales enquiries
  • Qualify leads and elevate high-potential opportunities to the sales team
  • Build relationships with prospective customers through regular communication
  • Arrange appointments and support sales activity
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and pipeline activity
  • Conduct market research to identify potential new business opportunities
  • Research prospective clients and key decision-makers
  • Support reporting and sales performance analysis

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a sales support, sales coordination, customer service, or business development role
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
