Your new role

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in driving process improvements and supporting production efficiency across the site. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will identify opportunities to optimise manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing robust manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles
  • Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and ensuring smooth transition into production
  • Analysing production data to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborating with design, quality, and production teams to resolve technical issues
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience with process improvement and problem-solving tools (e.g. root cause analysis)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • A degree in Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
