We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Assembly Operative in Littlehampton to join an experienced and growing team on a temporary ongoing basis. Within this position, you will be responsible for the assembly, test and calibration of products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calibration of instrumentation
  • Building effective working knowledge of instruments and accessories
  • Investigating and responding to problems found
  • PCB handling/assembly
  • Precision soldering
  • Use of electronic and hydraulic test/calibration equipment
  • Cable preparation
  • Working within a team assembling instruments from component level
  • Assembling and inspecting test kits
  • Working cross-departmental as required

Key Requirements

  • Ability to work as part of a small team
  • Electronics/Mechanical assembly experience
  • Understanding of basic electronic components and principles is an advantage but not essential
  • Good manual dexterity for small component handling
  • Precision soldering experience
  • Demonstrate initiative
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office
