We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Assembly Operative in Littlehampton to join an experienced and growing team on a temporary ongoing basis. Within this position, you will be responsible for the assembly, test and calibration of products.
Key Responsibilities
- Calibration of instrumentation
- Building effective working knowledge of instruments and accessories
- Investigating and responding to problems found
- PCB handling/assembly
- Precision soldering
- Use of electronic and hydraulic test/calibration equipment
- Cable preparation
- Working within a team assembling instruments from component level
- Assembling and inspecting test kits
- Working cross-departmental as required
Key Requirements
- Ability to work as part of a small team
- Electronics/Mechanical assembly experience
- Understanding of basic electronic components and principles is an advantage but not essential
- Good manual dexterity for small component handling
- Precision soldering experience
- Demonstrate initiative
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office
