Experienced Shovel Driver, 360 material handler Operator Driver (Wheel Loader) - Immediate Start! The shifts are 6am - 6pm, 4 days on, 4 days off, £15.18 per hour temp to perm for the right person.

We are seeking an experienced Shovel Driver, 360 Operator, and Wheel Loader Driver to join our team. If you're passionate about working in a dynamic environment and want to make a direct impact on site operations, we want to hear from you!

You will play a crucial role in safely and efficiently moving materials, ensuring our production line runs smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate shovel, 360 excavators, and wheel loaders to load, move, and distribute materials as directed.
  • Perform daily equipment checks, reporting any maintenance issues or malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors to maintain safe, efficient, and productive site operations.
  • Follow all site safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance and minimise risks.
  • Assist the yard supervisor with the general running of the yard, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Enforce health and safety standards on-site to create a safe working environment.
  • Load/unload vehicles and organise site traffic as necessary.
  • Ensure the production line continues to run smoothly by covering breaks and assisting with site activities as required.
Essential Requirements:
  • Current Shovel Operator Ticket (relevant certification) and experience operating loading shovels, 360 excavators, and wheel loaders.
  • Mobile Plant Experience: Must have experience operating loading shovels, 360 excavators, and wheel loaders in an industrial setting.
  • A safety-conscious approach with a strong desire to develop and embrace continuous improvement.
  • Previous experience in a similar environment is preferred.
