A terrific opportunity has arisen for a Transport Operations Assistant to join the team at the Rowley depot of this nationwide concern. Responsibilities:

  • Speaking to business customers regarding collections and schedules.
  • Dealing with any issues that may arise and planning the routes (training will be given).
  • Liaising with customers and drivers daily.
  • Rerouting vehicles, when required, to resolve issues.
  • Keeping the management system up to date by inputting all data in a timely manner.
  • Undertaking general office duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally have worked within a fast-paced office environment.
  • Excellent IT (particularly Excel), communication (written and oral) and inter-personal skills.
  • Able to work in a team, organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
