Our client Rochdale Borough Council is looking for a dedicated professional to join their Family Support and Protection team. This role is part of an exciting transition into a new family safeguarding model, where social workers and specialist practitioners work together under a unified management structure to provide a whole-family response through direct assessment. The service is starting its transition; we need enthusiastic and committed Social Workers to help build multidisciplinary teams, co-locate specialists, and implement the new model.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing families
  • Coordinating care and protection plans
  • Supporting children and families throughout the system

Qualifications:

We are looking for an agency worker who has experience in child protection work and care proceedings, and who can work within the approach we are taking. We are willing to offer above the standard rates for the right candidates who demonstrate the required experience and approach.
