We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for 2 experienced Quarry Operatives / Mobile Plant Operatives to join a busy and well-established operation. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience in quarrying, aggregates, recycling, heavy industrial production, or similar operational environments.
The Role
- You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of a busy site, ensuring materials are processed efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively.
- Duties will include:
- Daily operation of site production processes
- Operating mobile plant machinery to feed production equipment
- Operating processing plant machinery
- Loading LGVs where required
- Weighbridge operation
- Planned maintenance duties
- General housekeeping across site
- Monitoring equipment performance and reporting issues
- Working in line with strict health & safety procedures
- Supporting wider operational requirements as needed
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 5:00pm
Alternate Saturdays: 7:00am - 12:00pm (as required)
Salary
£34,000 - £36,000 per annum depending on experience
