The Role
As an MOT Tester you will work within the Mechanical Services Division, carrying out MOT testing activities while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with company and DVSA standards.
Responsibilities
- Carry out MOT testing on Class 4 vehicles.
- Undertake training and development to qualify for Class 1, 2, 5 and 7 testing.
- Ensure all testing activities comply with health and safety procedures.
- Use PPE and maintain safe working practices within the workshop environment.
- Update Fleet Plan job cards when required.
- Process warranty claims accurately.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, management and customers.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid MOT Tester Certificate.
- Qualification to test Class 4 vehicles.
- Strong vehicle mechanics knowledge and experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Awareness and understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Proactive and reliable approach to work.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

- Salary dependent on experience, typically ranging from £37,000 to £39,000 per annum.
