We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead accounting operations, driving financial control, reporting, and compliance for a £200m business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, year-end, statutory reporting and external audit.
- Lead monthly reforecasting process and group reporting submissions.
- Own annual budgeting cycle.
- Produce management accounts, including income statements and balance sheet reviews.
- Act as primary contact for auditors, tax advisors and regulatory bodies.
- Lead the annual stocktake.
- Deputise for the Head of Finance and help build a high-performance finance culture.
Qualifications
- ACA-qualified Accountant with strong post-qualification experience (essential).
- Excellent technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with current standards.
- Confident leadership skills with ability to influence and guide others.
- Resilience and pace to thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
