Academics are currently recruiting dedicated English Teachers to work across a range of welcoming and supportive secondary schools throughout Retford on a temporary, ongoing supply basis. Pay: 140 - 195 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)

About the Role

As an English Teacher in Retford, you will deliver engaging and structured lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting pupils in developing their reading, writing, and analytical skills. You may work on both short-term and longer-term assignments, either within your English specialism or occasionally providing general cover where required. Key Responsibilities

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
  • Degree in English or a related subject
  • Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
