TXM Recruit are currently looking for a maintenance operative to work for a rapidly expanding retail maintenance team on a long term cover situation; however, the likelihood is for a permanent role at the end of 3 months.

Location: North West London

Salary: £14.01 / hour

Hours: 6am to 3pm - Monday to Friday (Can be flexed for childcare etc)

Contract length: 4 months (possibility of permanent)

Weekends: 1-in-4 weekend shift (1.25x rate for Sunday)

Overtime: Overtime is available at 1.5x

Company Van and Tools & Uniform provided

Duties include:

  • General reactive maintenance in store from toilets, shop floor and communal areas.
  • This may include changing lightbulbs, replacing taps or toilet seats, hanging doors or fixing shelves, patch plastering, rendering, painting or minor carpentry and plumbing repairs.
  • PPMs such as Legionella, Fire Alarm Testing, Sprinkler Testing (training provided).
  • Building inspections including roof walks and building checks.
  • Daily duties to ensure the tablet is updated, reporting issues, H&S notes or sending emails using a PDA Tablet and Company provided Smartphone.
