TeacherActive is proud to be working with a children’s residential home based in NG32, supporting children and young people with SEMH, EBD, and CSE needs. The home provides a safe and structured environment, focused on promoting stability, independence, and emotional wellbeing for every young person in their care.

We are looking to take on a Residential Support Worker on a day‑to‑day basis with the opportunity for long‑term work for the right Residential Support Worker. The successful Residential Support Worker will be supporting young people with daily routines, encouraging positive behaviours, promoting engagement, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the children within the setting.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, EBD, or CSE needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to manage challenging behaviour positively
  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach
  • Flexibility to work shifts where required
