We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring efficient logistics processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead a dynamic team within a fast‑paced environment, driving continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.

Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory control, and order fulfilment.
  • Supervise warehouse staff, providing leadership, training, and performance management.
  • Manage transportation logistics using systems such as Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to optimise supply chain efficiency.
  • Utilise ERP systems and AS400 platforms for inventory tracking, reporting, and process optimisation.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, safety, and accuracy within the warehouse.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Operate or oversee the operation of forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required.
  • Monitor profit & loss statements related to warehouse activities to support financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to streamline operations.

Skills

  • Proven supervising experience within a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, and warehouse operations.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, AS400, and transportation management systems.
  • Skilled in process improvement methodologies such as continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Competent in shipping & receiving procedures and forklift operation.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret profit & loss data for operational decision-making.
  • Familiarity with 3PL providers and third-party logistics coordination.
