Do you enjoy working outside? Are you committed to maintaining a clean and tidy environment? Barker Ross have a great opportunity to do this and join our clients team as a Refuse Loader. This position offers an immediate start. Our client is a leading waste management company committed to promoting sustainability and ensuring the cleanliness of their local community. They specialise in efficient and responsible waste collection and disposal services.

Working Tuesday - Friday 06:00 - 15:45. Pay: £13.44 per hour. Potential temporary to permanent for the successful candidate. Location: Waterbeach, Cambridge.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the driver in the safe and efficient collection of waste from residential and commercial areas.
  • Load waste containers securely onto the vehicle to prevent spillage during transportation.
  • Work as part of a team to maintain a steady and organised flow of waste collection.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to minimise workplace hazards.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing enquiries and concerns from the general public.
Qualifications
  • Physically fit and able to walk 8-10 miles.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
