Internal Technical Sales Redditch - office based full time hours £30,000-£35,000 depending on your skills, experience and qualifications.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded professional with strong customer relationship and account management experience to play a key role in supporting sales growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, supporting the quotation process, and ensuring excellent service delivery across key accounts. You will work closely with internal departments to support customer requirements, improve processes, and contribute to commercial performance targets.

Internal Technical Sales Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of allocated customer accounts
  • Respond to customer enquiries via email and telephone in a professional and timely manner
  • Prepare and submit quotations with support from internal technical teams
  • Maintain account profitability and support commercial objectives
  • Assist with resolving account or payment-related issues where required
  • Monitor KPIs and analyse sales and operational data to identify improvements
  • Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives
  • Provide support to the Customer Service team on account-related matters
  • Attend customer meetings, site visits, and occasional trade shows when required
  • Escalate complex issues appropriately and contribute to effective problem-solving
Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience within a Business Development, Sales, Account Management, or Customer Service role
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability
  • Good IT skills, including experience working with data and reporting
