Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 13:30 - 22:00, 40 hours per week

ISQ Recruitment is working with a well-established automotive business to recruit an experienced LCV Technician for a late shift role based in Reading. This is a great opportunity for a qualified technician who enjoys working on light commercial vehicles and wants a stable, long-term position with strong earning potential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on vans and light commercial vehicles, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. This role would suit someone who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys being part of a professional workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out major and minor repairs on light commercial vehicles
  • Complete inspections, servicing and preventative maintenance work
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately
  • Work with the wider workshop team to plan and complete repairs efficiently
  • Maintain accurate vehicle records and complete relevant job documentation
  • Support warranty processes where required
  • Carry out wheel alignment, tyre fitting and general workshop duties
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with required standards
Candidate Requirements
  • Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, such as NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI
  • Experience working as an LCV Technician, Van Technician or Vehicle Technician
  • Strong diagnostic, servicing and repair experience
  • Ability to identify worn or faulty components in line with DVSA standards
  • Good attention to detail and a professional approach to work
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a workshop team
Working Hours

Monday to Friday 13:30 - 22:00, 40 hours per week

Late shift allowance of £21.50 per day

Overtime paid at 1.5x basic hourly rate
