Location: Reading, Berkshire

Rate: 200 - 210 per day (CIS Payments)

Job Type: Contract

We are currently seeking Electricians to carry out EICR testing, inspection, and remedial works within a block of privately owned rented flats in Reading. In this role, you will be responsible for completing 5-6 EICRs per day across a total of 199 flats, followed by testing of 9 communal areas. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, producing accurate certification, and carrying out remedial works where required.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out EICR testing within residential flats
  • Complete daily test & inspection reports accurately
  • Undertake remedial works where required
  • Ensure all works comply with current regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a professional approach in occupied properties
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
  • City & Guilds 2391 / 2394 & 2395 (Inspection & Testing) - Desirable
  • Proven experience in EICRs and residential testing
  • Own tools and testing equipment preferred
  • Ability to meet daily targets
