P+S Recruitment are pleased to be working on behalf of our client, who is currently recruiting a CSCS Cleaner to join their team based in Reading on a full-time, temporary basis. We are on the lookout for CSCS Cleaners who will work on a construction site to help with general cleaning.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular cleaning duties across the site, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste removal.
- Collect and dispose of construction debris and rubbish in appropriate containers.
- Maintain cleanliness of site offices, canteens, toilets, and welfare facilities.
- Clean tools, equipment, and materials storage areas as needed.
- Monitor and refill cleaning supplies and report low stock to the supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
- Report any hazards or safety issues to site management immediately.
- Assist with minor manual handling or support tasks as required.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and notify management of any issues.
- Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs.
Requirements
- MUST hold a CSCS card.
- Full PPE is required.
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
- Basic understanding of health and safety rules.
