An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Design Technician to join a globally recognised manufacturer known for innovation in architectural interior systems. The Opportunity

As a Design Technician, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between design, engineering, and the client. You will be responsible for producing technical drawings and supporting projects from initial concept through to delivery, ensuring solutions are both manufacturable and aligned to client expectations. Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed technical drawings and design solutions using AutoCAD or Revit
  • Act as a design liaison between internal teams and clients
  • Review project requirements and collaborate closely with sales and engineering teams
  • Support the creation of proposal documents, shop drawings, and material take-offs
  • Assist with material scheduling for project costing and estimations
  • Ensure all designs align with specifications, manufacturing capabilities, and compliance standards
  • Provide technical and after-sales design support where required

About You

  • Previous experience in a similar design or technical role
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit
  • Relevant qualification in Mechanical Design, Architecture, or similar (OND or equivalent)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident communicator who can build relationships with internal teams and clients
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to take ownership and solve problems
