Great opportunity to work as a Reach Driver for our world renowned logistics client in a busy distribution centre, which is responsible for despatching construction equipment. Staffline is recruiting for Reach Drivers in Kegworth, Derby.
The rate of pay for hours worked between 6am - 6pm is £13.80 per hour and for hours worked between 6pm - 6am is £16.56 per hour. Overtime is available at this site and is paid at:
- between 6am - 6pm - £20.70 per hour
- between 6pm - 6am - £23.46 per hour
This is a full time role working rotating shifts or fixed night shifts, the hours of work are:
- Rotating Monday to Friday: Early 6am – 2pm and Late 2pm – 10pm
- Fixed nights: Monday to Friday 10pm – 6am
Applicants must hold a Reach License; we will also accept any counterbalance or VNA licenses!
Responsibilities
- The kitting role requires the colleague to pick and sort items using a pump truck and pallets before putting away using the Reach truck. Please be aware that you will be on your feet for long periods of time. This role might require some occasional heavy lifting.
- Load and unload vehicles
- Move stock around the warehouse (on and off of racking)
- Work with a health & safety focus at all times
- Other general warehouse roles
Qualifications
- Our ideal candidate will show good attention to detail and be able to follow all Health and Safety rules.
- Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
