A well-respected and oversubscribed Catholic secondary school in Tunbridge Wells is seeking a dedicated RE Teacher to join their successful Humanities department for the remainder of the summer term. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RE Teacher or confident ECT who is ready to step into a welcoming and purposeful learning environment.
The successful RE Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality Religious Education lessons across secondary key stages, ensuring students remain engaged, challenged, and motivated throughout their learning. This role is teaching-focused only, meaning there is no planning or marking required.
The ideal RE Teacher will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong subject knowledge within Religious Education
- Experience teaching RE across KS3 and KS4
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to quickly build positive relationships with students and staff
- A flexible, professional, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
