Responsibilities

  • Manage project finances, control budgets and margins, and produce accurate CVR and cost reports.
  • Lead procurement, appoint and administer subcontractors, and manage material and plant orders.
  • Assess and mitigate contractual risks, negotiate variations, and value works for client invoicing and subcontractor payments.
  • Support safe, timely and high‑quality delivery of projects while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Mentor Assistant Quantity Surveyors and collaborate with operational teams to ensure commercial success.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, company procedures, financial controls and governance standards.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified.
  • 8–10 years’ experience with a similar contractor procuring cladding packages and managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, practices and contractual processes.
  • Proficiency in preparing financial reports such as CVR or cost reports, measuring, valuing and administering work.
  • Experience working with subcontractors, procurement activities and commercial risk management.
  • Solid understanding of construction contracts and project‑based financial control.
